Caring For Plants
At Glendale School the kindergarten students were becoming experts on cultivating plants. They had cared for their plants and decided making a plant care robot would be an excellent project. Kas Patsula, their teacher, has made an extensive webpage on what we did.
Robitics with Kindergarten children helps students develop team working skills. As Kas explains:
"Robotics offers students an opportunity to work in a group situation, problem solve together and to try new skills in a safe environment. Robotics is all about working successfully in a group. This means taking turns, ensuring even those who do not ask for a job are given an important task to carry out in that Robotics period."
